Door flex.thin sheet metal 06 Q/C

I have just turned 3k miles on my new 06 quad cab and was addressing a drivers door squeak. While inspecting it I observed lots of flexing of the c pillar in the area of the door hinges. . enough so that I am worried it will eventually fatigue the sheet metal and fail



I am wondering if anyone else has seen this . . if there is any good fix for it. . and if there is even a service bulletin on it

I posted about the same issue early in 2003 ... ... ... . do a search and you might be able to find it.



Mine is still good with 320,000 miles. No areas where the spot welds look like they will break out.

well that makes me feel better with your miles on your truck. . but man. . I think door sag etc will be an issue over time. . I will definitely be gentle on these doors and not let them open against the stops
