door hinge

Not long ago there was a post regarding the lower hinge on a first gen. It seems to be off the board now so will restart. If someone can tell me how to get a picture on the board I will show a fix for ripped out hinge.

Instead of using the "quick reply" window at the bottom, click on #ad
. Depending on the size of the photo, you can upload it using the field towards the bottom. Unfortunately, it has to be a pretty small pic to work.



Another way is to "store" the pic using some kind of online photo hosting site. Once it's there, copy the URL for the photo (right click on the photo and click on "properties" to get the address). Using the following format, the pic will show up in your post. Replace the { and } with [ and ] :



{IMG}#ad
{/IMG}



Now, after all that, the easist way, though, will be just to upload the pic to the Reader's Rigs Gallery on TDR and link to it.

Thanks for trying Dan but if I knew what all that meant, I probably could do it. I did get the pic in the place as you suggested but it was too large.



I CAN do it this way. If you want to see the pics, send me your regular email in a PM and I will send them along with a few comments about the repair.
