Door lock problem

The driver side rear door lock on my '05 quit working. It will not work with the key fob and will not work with the door lock/unlock button. Only manual. I think my 3 year old daughter may have been messing with it (mischievous little critter). Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The lock motor fails. Probabaly need to replace it.

Check the wire harness from the door jamb to the door, I have seen these break from the flexing of the wires when you open and close the door... .

My driver door lock solenoid quit and was replaced under warranty.

I would have put money on broken wires as the cause. It has happened to mine twice.

i thought the broken wire was from around the 03-04 model not an 05-06...

I have the exact same door problem. interment at the moment.

Good question on the door wiring years. My truck was built 2/04. It has the bad wiring.
