If they are the "christmas tree" type like on my 2001, I got a package of "universal" ones from a chain auto parts store. I think that it was autozone, for about a tenth of what the dealer wanted. I think the dealer wanted something like 2. 50 per fastener x about 24total that I needed.
I ordered a bag of 50 christmas tree fasteners from Elliott Distributing for $11 plus shipping. That was a couple of years ago but I'm sure they haven't gone up too much. The dealer wanted $2. 40 each.
The paint dept. at my local CarQuest store is where I got mine. 50 in a box for $6. 37. The part number is for GM-Saturn 1991 and up, but they are a perfect match for the ones on my 98 Dodge. Number on the box is 50 2561.
Having the door panels off twice before, I know these trim panel fasteners are in sorry shape, to say the least. I also know what the dealer wants for these hence, the reason that they have not been replaced before but, now I can replace them affordably
I went to CarQuest and they were no help (even with part number in hand) so, I went to Elliot Distributing and had them in a few days
Yep, bought mine from the local Napa... they had them in stock. Also bought their fork looking tool so I could pull them off in the future without damaging them... and I used the tool the next time when I installed my CIPA mirrors.
