2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Door part #'s

I had a little accident and I need a whole new drivers side door. Nothing else, just the skin and frame. Does anybody know what part #'s cross reference to type of truck. I have a 01. 5 3500 and would the door from a 1997 2500 or 1500 fit?????

Here's what a crash-part book has to say

I have the pages out of a body shop crash-parts book, and here is what I got out of it: From what I can tell, there are no different P/N's for 1500 to 3500 trucks. For a regular cab truck, they list the door shell (for the driver's side) as a 55023 573AE. It shows the same P/N for 97-01 trucks. It shows a list price of $585 , but the right side is $700 Take it for what it's worth. Thanks for the help. Just got off the phone with them and the doors they carry are only for the Reg cab, not quad cab. The rep was very helpfull and said that as far as he knows no body except dealers carry the doors for a quad cab. He suggested a salvage yard or the dealer... .....

What's the difference? Unless you want the back door.

Hope you don't need the part real quick from the dealer... it has taken 11 days for them to get the skin for my passenger door... that is after ordering the wrong door for the driver's side. They got a door for a regular cab very quickly, but couldn't get one for a quad cab... FWIW, DC could be real busy making factory skins for the 94-02 truck series... lots of rust tales!!

Lower rear corner of a regular cab door is rounded- same corner on a quad cab front door is square.
