Any of y'all know who carries door weatherstripping for our beasts? Looking for the inner pieces in the door that go against the glass, but I figure I might as well replace all of it, don't think this truck is going to be leaving anytime soon!:p

I replaced all the weather strips on both 1st gens last year bought the pieces from J. C. Whitney they fit good no leaks I believe the pieces that fit against the window along the top of the door panel are belt weather strips. When replacing mine I did not stretch the rubber leave it relaxed and you may still end up with a little piece left over. There may be other places to buy but this worked fine for my replacment. good luck . Ken.

Next time your in Apple Valley stop by I have the door rubber that should work if you want to give it a try?

Mark,

I'm just sharing my personal experience here... I've purchased those weatherstrips for the glass, inside and outside, from JC Whitney three times for three different vehicles, including my '92 W250. ALL three times those kits have never fit my vehicles correctly. I kept ordering after the first incident because they're cheap. :rolleyes:ALL three times I've ended up going to the dealer to get correct fitting ones. I feel Southpaw was fortunate to purchase a 'good batch'. Seems like certain body parts just has to come from the dealer. I know, I know, they're all made overseas but perhaps the manufacturers for the dealerships have higher tolerances or better quality control.

Aloha,

Matt

Philip posted the dealer part #'s on here not too long ago. He also said they are about $30 each. You only need 2 #'s. The inner on the left is the outer on the right, clear as mud? ;)

$30! I think I got 'em for close to $50 each. Can you believe that, $200 just for window seals!#@$%!

I paid 27. 50 ea. for mine from the Dealership, but a good friend of mine works parts and cut me as much as he could. I'm talking about the window belt strips, sorry I should have said.
