2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission doors unlock by their selves

on my 99 the doors will automaticlly unlock when truck shuts off. how do you disable this feature? i put a bd cooldown timer on the truck and know theres no point in lockin the doors cuz they unlock when it is done cooling down anyway. kind of a pain to have to go back out and lock them. any info would be appreciated>

Do you have the RKE (Remote Keyless Entry)? Seems different programming features are available depending on which system you have. I'll research my '98 manual.
