Dorman bed side outer mounding ?

In that dented in horizontal space along the side of the truck. My old 99 had them. And it really saved the sides of my truck in parking lots and in the garage when my wife would let the door of her car go and hit my truck. Dodge no longer makes them but I would like some for my 2022 3500 regular cab long box. Any info on these. Thanks

There are a lot of "universal" moldings and rub strips but I've no personal experience with them. I have used the magnetic ones which can be applied when needed and left off otherwise, or stay on until it's time for a wash and wax.
And maybe a rubber strip for the wife's door edge too.

I purchased OEM chrome side moldings for my wife's Laramie Longhorn. If I were going to install them on the sides of the bed, I would order another set and trim to fit. I didn't install on the bed sides.

Dawg, I have to ask what good other than looks do those strips do? Seems the horizontal line of the door above sticks out maybe as far as the strip???

Not a whole lot, but still no nicks. DW doesn't park out in the boonies like me. They're about 1.5 inches wide and stick out about an 1/8th inch.
