DOT numbers

has anyone heard that New York state is is requiring that all dual wheeled vehicles that are licensed for 10,000 lbs. or more have Dot numbers even if it is not used for commerical proposes I only use mine for the camper

Welcome to the New World Order where everything and anything our wonderful governments can try to tax us on. Being here in Commiefornia, we have to pay Commercial weight fees on our personal pickup trucks and vans, even though they are for personal use.
I can't say I have heard of what is going on in your state but it wouldn't surprise me.
