While pulling my trailer I down shift from 5th to 4 th and put my foot into it, i get a bad shudder from the tranmission. Have anybody had this problem? New to this site and not really sure where to put my truck specs?

I do not have the name of the thread, but this has been kicked around before. Others have called it "bucking". Maybe yours is different in that you are talking about the transmission. If yours is a long bed, you have a carrier bearing midway in the rear driveline. Some of them have "too" much play (IMO) and heavy loads or high horsepower tend to amplify the symptom. Some have stated to just ease onto the throttle to minimize the effects. I went so far as to "wedge" a piece of flat bar into the bearing assembly above the rubber "grommett" yet still inside the confines of the assembly. I virtually eliminated the problem in my truck. Do a search under the "bucking" (or something like that) topic. Maybe I missed the point here and your problem is different than mine. Good luck. I am sure others will chime in.

Do you have a 5 speed or 6 speed? Does the noise sound like a flat tire? If so, many of us are looking for the cause of the noise.

Steve your right about the bucking. Much better word to discribe the problem. I'll do a search for the thread. I do have a long bed and it is a 5 speed. Thanks!
