I know someone whos got one on a 3rd gen, And the only comment I can say is it sounds mean as hell. Really dosent do anything other then look?/sound cool unless your over like 900HP or something... . 02 Jim

Jim is right on. That system was from Keystone and was a "universal" cut to fit deal. A bit cumbersome and in reality if you dont have twins , huge squirters and more than you really don't have to have it unless you want to make some local Honda boys jealous. Spare tire on a seccond gen may have to live in the bed after that. Heck it is tight with a 4" system. Sounds sick as heck tho.

You don't really gain much in going from a 5 in to a 6 in power-wise. People have said that you don't really even gain much from going from 4 in to 5 in unless you're really pushing the power. But if you don't already have an aftermarket exhaust, it might just be a little harder to install than a smaller diameter system.

Oh come on guys, you know a six inch system (over a 4 inch system) is worth another 32. 7 hp. Just like the stickers are worth 3 hp. The really big ones are seeing gains of 5 hp, haven't figured out why though. Need to do more dyno testing.

It was the Bully Dog system...

you said "huge squirters"... :-laf

Yup, I agree, sounds MEAN!!!!!

does anyone have any pics of that monster installed? I mean, besides the Bully Dog website? So it goes from a 4" downpipe to a 6" intermediate pipe all the way to the exit? I dunno, I really like laying down a smoke trail on BOTH sides of my truck!

You will need to be carefull if you go with a 6" and have kids around. You might go out side and wonder where your 2 year old got to and then you might hear and echo from that big exhaust! :-laf

I've got a 6" system laid out on the floor of my garage. My 75 lb dog dropped her tennis ball into one of the pipes, and I saw that her head does fit all the way inside :). Haha.

6" exhaust is useless (doesn't give anymore power) and actually hurts performance unless you are over 650 HP. Having a 6" actually makes your EGT's run hotter than with a 5" unless you are up over the 650 HP mark. If you are wanting to make big power I would use a 6", if not just get a good 5". You will be alot happier.

I think if you were stuck on a 6" system,, You should get the over the axle piece only.

4" from downpipe, to crossmember, then to 5", then to 6" just before the axle...
