Some first impressions



My local dealer is clueless... I expect him to be 5-10k more than the other guys



Dave Smith Dodge was lukewarm... told me all C&C would be at list,, no incentives offered. . didnt get a warm and fuzzy feeling from them



Carson Dodge was very professional and friendly... we'll see what they come back with



Steve White Motors (East Coast). . man these guys are selling new trucks CHEAP (see ebay)... nicely optioned Cand C 6. 7 and good options. . and a crewcab for 31k and change... but Im trying to see how much it would be to get one west and if they can drop ship



As an aside... their commercial guy told me SINGLE REAR Wheel option is NOT available to individuals. . only corporate fleet with a dodge account... WHAT... I cant find that anywhere in the builders code manual...



and some things are sketchy as to whether they are currently available. . for example. . no super duty front springs currently. . but they were there last week... what the heck... saleman told me things were changing in his order computer daily,,,



I have to tell you. . its frustrating



The dance begins. . but there isnt any music



Watch for updates... they should be interesting

Just wait a few months and things should pan out. I'm sure all new pickup trucks and CC from the big three will have sales slow downs due to the new EPA stuff driving up the prices to the moon.

There may be some good incentives this summer.

I've bought several trucks from Rob Crosswhite at Dishman Dodge in Spokane... . I use them and Dave Smith... Rob has been there a while and has lots of knowledge...



give him a call..... They have several C&C on the lot if I walked in and wanted one... I trust him to just buy one... have done that a couple of times...

The east coast guy was the cheapest by 1000 dollars but the shipping (1295)killed the deal. . for those of you on the east coast Steve White in Carolina (ebay) definately is the price point leader ...

he sells crews cheaper than the other guys sell regular cabs



Carson Dodge (Tom Porter)has been the most helpful/professional so far. . their bid about 33k. . there are no incentives... yet... pto prep has delayed delivery build times 3-6 mos currently. . super duty springs are NOT available with SRW (SRW IS an available general option)... . everything is subject to change

Dodge is finicky on selling Ca emission equipped vehicles to only dealers of Cali or contiguous states... one has to be very careful with out of state dealer spec'ing because of this (Carson and Dave Smith both have the ability to sell Cali equipped trucks)



I'm awaiting Dave Smith, some washington and oregon guys. . and the local dealer... who I really think is outgunned. . Ill post up what those deals are when I get them
