Downpipe Flange?

I have a 4in downpipe with a 3 in flange,How can you run a hx 40 that has a 4in flange?I have seen the adapters but dont now where to find them. And is a hx40 more than you need for a slightley modified 1st gen. I will be running bigger injectors soon and need a new one. Or is the hx35 a better choice. I was just wondering cause I found bolth for a fair price. Also,is the hx35 going to have more turbo whine than the H1c. Thanks

you can get a 3" v band to 4" v band adaptor

get the correct v-band flange from Keith @ Diesel Dynamics and modify your downpipe to take advantage of the full 4" outlet of the HX40.

Yes get the 40, spend the money once. Wished I'd done that, instead I got the 35/16 first. You can buy a hx40 4" downpipe. Yep anything above the h1c will produce more whine. You'll probly want the 40 with a 16cm wastegated housing. Anything bigger and you'll probly want a 35 instead, because of the lag.
