Here I am

Stanadyne dealer?

Can this pump be turned up without new guts?

Title says it all.

Here's the pics. .

Diffuser stack. Same concept as PSD and Duramax Exhausts.

DPF. Obviously. . :D

EGR pipe. Has to be alot easier to cool the EGR when you are picking it up after the DPF. . Has to be cleaner for the motor as well. . Any Idea's about that?

I think there is a sensor somewhere in this pic...

I think the 6. 7 is getting the EGR in the manifold...

The manifold is under pressure from the turbo, so, it would be hard to move it behind the DPF because there would be little pressure to push the Exhaust...

and for that reason, some engines with all the emissions stuff have throttle valves to assist the egr flow [create lower pressure in intake manifold to allow egr gas to flow in]... i don't know if the 6. 7isb has one though. . ?

Yes it does. it has fast acting EGR valve/servo, and a throttle valve.

We need an EFI equivelant so we could move the EGR post DPF and reprogram the ECM.

Only CAT uses the return pipe from the DPF because they run 'dirtier', therefore CAT needs cleaner EGR from after the DPF. CAT also uses an 'afterburner' after their second turbo! Look at a new CAT and Cummins side by side and tell me what one you would rather work on? Cummins is still pretty simple!

Cat runs dirtier? Where did you come up with that? If anyone thinks drawing the exhaust gasses before the DPF is the way to go, has never seen the black goo that forms in the intake of a standard EGR diesel.

And as far as your "which would you rather work on" question, I don't care. Not to sound like a "donkey" but I really don't care. That's not my problem. We rarely every buy used trucks and all new ones have a warranty. Take the valve cover off a Cummins ISX and compare that to the twin turbos on a Cat. Both are complicated.

and the crap that closes up the intake on a tdi VW, i've herd about some that were just about totally closed
