I was talking to an old buddy a week ago who's the day foreman at Cummins Rocky Mtn. . He told me that another old buddy who in the 70's owned one of the best Cummins and Detroit shops in Denver, is now working for his son, who is a Dr. P dealer. I went out to their shop and asked them, what makes Dr. P so much better? After first hearing about how lousy TST is,we got into Dr. P. The talk about Dr. P injectors sounds believable. There tips have different size and different number of holes to give better atomization. The big gray area to me was the pumps. Dr. P doesn't even tell his dealers many details about them. Dr. P builds the pumps and the dealers just swap them. Dr. P uses the 12cm housing for stage I, II, and III, which I was told is about 350hp. I was hoping with these guys diesel experience I'd learn more but Dr. P keeps the lid on tight! I was also hoping to maybe use Dr. P injectors to enhance what I already have but don't know which ones would work.
Does anyone have any accurate, unbiased input on this? Dr. P phase III is $3500. Is it worth it??
