Talked to a Rep. at the Salt Lake Snomobile show. He offers 100 day $$$ back if the box doesn't deliver 80 RWHP and 15% MPG while towing! What do you guys think, and are anyk of you using the box with these results? Thanks, Doc :confused:
 
Seems Realistic, A Jump In M. p. g. From 10 To 11. 5, And 80 Hp Isn't That Hard To Acheive With An Increase In Rail Pressure. I Have Run Dr. Perf. On Both My 555 And 600 Engine No Probs. Just A Simple Fuel Pressure Box, Can Even Wire To Turn On And Off With Remote Switch And Even Wire In The Dr. P Brake Controller/pyroy/boost Gauge With Auto Defuel On High Egt's. Something To Look Into. I Would Check On Ebay Most Definately For Prices, I Got Mine For Like Half Price Or Something. Fact', I Just Sold My 100 Hp Unit For The 555 On Ebay For 300 Or So. Check Around.

I have an 04. 5 (600). I run the Bullydog PowerPup Downloader, TST PowerMax CR, and Dr. Performance Stage 2 Predator (85hp I think). I like to run the PowerPup on Extreme for puttin' around, then turn on the Predator pressure box and TST (usually 2's or so) for a little more fun. The PowerPup fuels alot with hardly any pedal, great for that turbo lag at stop lights, etc. Not sure about any mileage gain, don't keep very good record.



I do know that when I installed my 85 hp injectors on my '03 '555' the overhead read as high as 31. 5 mpg on an hour trip, and read 27 mpg on a 600 mile trip. From the fuel I bought on the trip, I recall that figure was pretty close. Now I may be smokin' somethin' over here, but I think injectors do give real world mpg increases. After I added only the inj. , my over head gave alot higher numbers.
 
I had a Dr Performance Stage II 85hp/160fpt on my 325/600 for about a month. It definitely added RWHP. Dropped my 1/4 mile time 1. 3 seconds or so by itself. I got a little scarred of the boost pressure that I could generate(close to 40psi) on stock turbo. Also could hit almost 1500 degrees on WOT. It made my Cummins idle rough and noisy also. Took it back to the local Dr Performance dealer and got my money back with no questions ask.



As for impoved mpg, never got the chance to find out. I couldnt keep my foot out of it. I would have been concerned with towing with my setup at the EGTs it made on my truck.

Seems like a lot of guys pull the boxes off after trying them on the 3 G? Selling EZ for $50 must not think much of it. I wouldn't want a rough idle for the 85 rwh, of 1300 egt. MHO. . Doc
