Hey guys, I am looking at swapping out the EZ for the predator. As I understand it, the predator is easier on the injectors as rail pressures aren't as high as with the EZ. Because I'm still learning here, I was hoping for some feedback from you guys. I breifly talked with one of the techs and a couple of distributors but still am questioning if this module alters timing/duration to arrive at the hp gains. I'd like to run this module stacked as I currently am with the EZ. Any input would be appreciated. TIA

Less pressure = less power gain. The EZ you have has lower settings in it too... just turn it down if you want less pressure to the rail.

I understand this and thanks for the input. I guess what I'm asking, what is the Dr. Performance doing the EZ isn't? I am assumming both are pressure boxes but the predator supposedly uses less psi but with better horsepower gains. How is this possible? Is fuel atomization better with the Dr. performance? If so, does this mean the dr. performance box is altering duration or other? thanks

What it plugs into will tell you what it can do. Rail pressure and MAP, same as the EZ. If there are more plugs, it may be able to do more. Don't know, never seen one.

I have no experience with DrP, but have heard few, if any, good things on this board. They claim to increase power "without overfuelling," which to me, means by timing alone. That wont equal much of a power increase, or it will really stress the head gasket, as pressure increase is exponential as timing is increased (the farther you advance, the pressure issue is compounded, so to speak). One is only overfuelled if the EGT gets too hot or seals start to blow (head gasket, mainly, and it IS a seal, of sorts).

I have always been suspicious of DrP, and have thought their prices too high to try an experiment.
