I know that there are many people that have negative opinions about DR. P, but I still don't get it. I understand the principle of fuel atomization, but does it really work. Can this happen? If he can add so much HP without adding fuel, why doesn't he work for Bosch or somebody like that? I am so intrigued by his claims, that I would like to get my truck done and watch what goes on.
PS, I know it is pain in the butt, but please reply as in depth as possible.

You will notice that he never ever gives torque numbers. This is because he is running less fuel (as advertised) and the torque numbers are low, but increases the RPM which can greatly increase the HP numbers. Towing head-to-head with a normal uprated 230/605 engine at a reasonable 1800 RPM, his truck will not keep up. It won't have the torque!

It all depends on what your personal preference is. If you want power more similar to a gas engine, then this may be what you want.

His product seems similar to what the newer engines are going toward! Lower torque number, higher RPM, high HP numbers.

Just what I have heard! No hands on experience.

Later,
Tim

From limited experience, I think you have the good brand of extrude honed injectors. Quality control is critical with this modification and not all vendors do it well. The combination of injection timing, injector size, and pump flow can be optimized for less fuel to make a given amount of power, but you can spend a lot less and get there with a la carte purchases.

Beyond that point, advertising weenies take over and the laws of thermodynamics are thrown out the window. Folks have been advertising perpetual motion machines for about as long as machines have been around. Bosch, Cummins, etc. spend millions annually but somehow are forced to stay within the laws of physics. Thus, the gains are not as phenomenal as claimed by some advertisers.

hp is a dirivative of torque,,,they are directly related,,,you don't get hp without torque. .

HP and Torque are directly related, but so are RPM's and HP, so you can increase HP without increasing torque - just increase the RPM's while maintaining the same torque. The exact formula has been posted on the site in the past, but I can't remember where.
