After 11 years and 111,000 km my 92 4x4 was wandering a bit on the highway. Today I bought and installed a new drag link. Purchased it from Chrysler Dealer (part # 04106178) which was less than Napa. Used a pickle fork to free the old drag link. Took truck for a run on freeway and steering is nice and tight.

I just did mine recently too (see the earlier thread I started). How much did the dealer want for the drag link? I got mine at Napa--they had two versions, a heavy duty and a light duty. the light duty appeared to have smaller joints at the ends (threaded posts were the same as heavy duty though), so I bought the heavy duty one. It was right about $100.

Mike,

The dealer charged me $121 Can and Napa wanted $159. The drag link that I bought is the same as the one that I took out.
