Competition Drag Racing Rules at Muncie

What are the drag racing rules at Thunder in Muncie as far as being put in the street, pro street, and modified classes? Can a truck running twins without drugs stay in the street class? Will there be bracket racing or heads-up action or both? Thanks.

Have to ask Eric on that one. But I would think twins will put you in pro street. I would think Street is bone stock. But like I said said, Eric is the one to ask. .

The Thunder in Muncie Drag Racing will be a DHRA Event ran by DHRA rules. Here is a link to the rules:

To answer your question, yes a truck running twins without drugs can stay in the street diesel class.



The Street Diesel class is a bracket racing class for DOT registered and licensed vehicles, the Pro Street is a heads up racing class for DOT registered and licensed vehicles, and the Modified Diesel class is a heads up racing class for street/strip vehicles...



The way it looks, we will have participants in each class so we will be running each class at Muncie.

The easy version

Street Diesel= ET Handicap racing (NOS, LP, Water/Meth, twins, etc. )

Pro Street= Heads up two divisions all motor (5500 lb min. ) and NOS (6200 minimum).

Modified Diesel= 3500 lb class
