The bedliner was already installed in my truck when I bought it. My '97 had drain holes at the cab end of the bed and bedliner, but my '08 bedliner has no holes there. Are there holes in the bed of the '08 and if so, where should I drill the liner to take advantage of them?

I'd think that water will wick between the box and liner and that's not good.

That's not a big worry since I had to cut the bedliner to install the rails for my fifth wheel hitch. I'd still like to hear from someone with an '08 about the drain holes.

Do you have one of the spray/roll on bedliners, or do you have the plastic one? If it's the spray on bedliner then you might be able to drill a slightly oversized hole and then paint on more bedliner material to "seal" the exposed metal in around the edge of the hole.

Get under your truck, look at the front of the bed to see where the drain holes are and drill a pilot hole through them into the bedliner. Then dill whatever size hole you want from the top of the bedliner in the pilot hole locations.

I drilled holes in my 04. 5 when I installed the Transfer flow because Rhino filled in any holes that were there.

My 08 3500 had holes at both front corners of the bed. My spray-in liner coverred the holes, and I'm going to leave it like that. Scott

My truck ('05) has drains in both front corners and in the front center. The LineX made them smaller but they still keep the swiming pool from forming during a rain shower.

Bob,

My '08 has a slit drain hole at each front corner. From the looks of mine, you should be able to see where they are from underneath your truck.

Good luck.
