Truck arrived 2 weeks ago . Found driveline vibration and took back to dealer . tech rotated rear driveshaft 180 deg . Vibration was much better ,but not cured . Tech went out to tard and took shaft from another truck . This made no change. Balanced wheels , no change . Now rotated front driveshaft 180 and reinstalled and vibration is gone. Smooth as silk . Pulls 10400 lb. fifth wheel camper like a rocket over our upstate NY hills.

BTW ,I got 16. 2 MPG on first full tank with no towing , just around town. 4:10 rear and 6 speed

This is a great forum amd I'm glad to be aboard ...

Please complete your signature so that we know what you got. Glad they got the vibration fixed. Sounds like a good service shop.

Ok , so noted and fixed . .

Yes ,Klenger , the dealer has been great. He is located in a small town about 30 miles from home . There are other D-D-P dealers much closer ,But hard to get agood price or service. This guy has 2 certified mechanics and is agreeable to some mods. . Well worth the drive. .

Well I think DC has the same guy put on the bolts for the driveline that also does the oil filters. I cant even budge them.

Ok when you say they rotated it 180 is that just un hooking it and taking it off the spline and putting it back on 180 degrees or are they taking the u joints apart and turning them?

Claymike , Unhooking and taking off the spline . . As they don't let you in the shop directly all I could do was peer in through a window . Mech did this on a lift and only took about 7-8 mins , maybe 10 at most .

Test ride took the longest . I think mech and service writer needed to get out for a while. .
