dreaded hvac problems

need a good service dept in the mobile alabama area. just don't have the time or energy to start a project. somtimes i hate that there is a dodge wrapped around my cummins diesel.

The AC on my 06' tanked at 50K. The extended warranty paid for everything. Good Luck.

Poor design is the real problem with these ac and heat boxes under the dash.

I am ready to take a sawsall to the dash and build my own ac/heater box out of plywood

It could be no worse than the plastic mess that dodge has under there.

Amen on the sub-standard heater unit. I have thought about adding a Red Dot 2-fan heater under the front seat blowing forward to keep my feet warm. Used to do it in the old Cabover Freightliners and it helped a lot. :-laf



You don't realize how poor a design it is until you ride in a GMC or a Ford and have to turn the heat DOWN after 10 minutes or so because you are too hot in the winter. Oo.
