Rotary Brush or Sickle Mower?

harbor freight score of the year, diesel generator

I was given a Luson drill press, model 18A, it says, 3/4" capacity. The chuck key that came with it has the right diameter shaft, 5/16", but the splined part seems to be a smaller diameter than needed. I can use it, been using it, it just seems as tho the splined part of the key ought to engage the notches on the chuck better than it does. Any ideas on getting the correct one? Thanks, Steve

If you're looking to get away on the cheap, there's Northern Tool. If you're really on a shoestring (what boat isn't!), there's always Horror Freight!

I've never looked, but I assume Lowes and Home Depot also carry them.

Unless the drill chuck you have is really odd, I think they're all copies of the Jacobs chuck, so most "standard" chuck keys should work with it.
