Drive Line Seals

My 99 5sp is in the shop one more time for drive line seals leaking. The trannie Front seal was just replaced along with the clutch. Less then 2000miles ago. In the past the drive shaft and both ends seals were replaced twice. It looks like the 2nd time it works, But why are the seals giving out ?the bearings are ok. I have never known this to happen before. Love my Ram,but I belive it's mom was seeing a FORD on the side.

well guy i lost my rear seal at 30k i was told by DC that this is normal and 30k is about all it well last . ?

While I was changing front pads a couple days ago I noticed my driver side axle seal is leaking. After only 13k miles. Looks like I'll get to know how to pull it apart sometime soon. I don't trust those monkeys at the dealership, and also be out of a truck for who knows how long.

Thanks D/C has decided that a new transmission is needed and they are giving me one

Thanks for the come back D/C has changed the pinon seal twice the transmission seal twice the drive shaft once ,the transmission frt seal,clutch,throwout bearing,now the transmission is leaking clean oil from the bellhousing this is less than a 1000miles. now they are replaceing the transmission. That is a lot of parts under warrenty. D/C has been good to me
