Not positive the attachment will be here but I tried. Look at the boost vs drive pressure relationship with this turbo. This is with an 06 Dodge towing 13000 lbs in large hills.
The two graphs on the page you linked. Stock makes 30 psi by 25 mph, the switchblade takes until 40 mph. Granted there is more to the story than boost pressure, but that's a big difference.
The numbers on the bottom of the graph are actually tenths of a second not mph. When looking at the graph you are correct in your observation that it does appear the stock charger did spool faster. However when we did those graphs we were looking to compare the drive pressures of each turbo. I don't recall if at both times the throttle was flat footed at the beginning as we were wanting to compare drive pressures and not spool time.
I would like to see load tests as well. Stock truck on a dyno loaded at different RPM's and then swap the turbo and repeat the test. I would like to see the difference in EGT's and boost pressure. Larger turbo doesn't have to produce the same pressure to acheive the same HP/TQ numbers.
AH64ID I like the turbo on your truck and I'm on the fence about installing twins or keeping a single. So if I go single it will be the Garrett or the II Silver 62.
