I just took my drive line in to have the u joints re done and I need to know how many foot pounds to torque the bolts to.

You need to post your truck data so people know what year your truck is, type of transmission, differential, etc. It's best to put that information in your signature file so it shows up in every post you make. If your truck is an `03 you can search for the 03DRM. PDF (Dodge Repair Manual) file and check them there. Dodge won't give you the torque specs over the phone anymore.

For a 2006

3. If two piece propeller shaft, align center bearing (1)
with reference marks on center bearing bracket
and tighten bolts (2) to 54 N·m (40 ft. lbs. ).

4. Align reference marks on propeller shaft and pinion
flange. Install new companion flange (1) bolts and
tighten to 115 N·m (85 ft. lbs. )
CAUTION: Failure to follow these instruction may
result in a driveline vibration

sorry about the signature. hopw that is more helpfull.

I am comfused. I have a 2 piece driveline. it have 2 bolts for the carrier bearing and 4 to bolt the shaft to the rear end.

The reference marks he is referring to are marks that are recommended that you put on there before disassembly so everything goes back in exactly the same position/location. Hopefully the flange at the differential won't make a big difference but the center bearing location could. Maybe you can tell from the imprint of the old bearing where it was located. bg
