Trying to find out what is causing a vibration at takeoff. It is more noticeable up a slight slope. Only does it around 20 mph. All other speeds is fine. Just installed new Georend trans. Was doing this before trans. Fluid in transfer case is good. U-joints dont seem to be making any noise. U-joint cap bolts are tight. Is the transfer case on the way out or drive shaft out of balance? Any advice would be great!#@$%!

Do you have a two pice drive shaft?

Sounds like limited slip clutch chatter symptoms. Also check your motor and trans mounts for looseness and/or rotted rubber.

Put the rear up on jack stands and spin the rear tires. Look closely at that drive shaft. It only takes the littles bend to be a problem. We just replaced a shaft in a 08 that the dealership said was fine, he bent it at the dump. Also I dont know how long it had been scene your trany work but you might pull the shaft and check the u-joints to see if one is freezing up. look to see if you lost a wheel weight or a tire has a bulge on it. I would check the cheep stuff first. Good luck.
