Driver door

Here is a question for you guys has anyone had a problem with the spot welds on the inside of there door coming apart right where the locking mech is at mine is coming apart and messing with my lock and everything don't know what happened

Doors not adjusted properly or door hinge pins bad, letting to much weight on the latching mech. Thats about the only way I have seen those spot welds break.

Noe everything is well lubbed and in great shape thought of that before still no ideas

I suspect it's assembly luck of the draw. I've had one door come apart on a '91 Caravan because the spot welder didn't hit the seam and have seen odd spot welding on B vans as well. No reason why the D trucks would be any better. A mig welder will fix those problems quickly, but I remove door glass first to avoid spattering it with weld.
