I know I am probably not going to get many hits on this since it's in England, but I thought I would ask. My wife and I are planning on going to England this September and I have an opportunity to be a Driver for a Fiver at the East Somerset Railway just south of Bath, England. What this means is that for 5 Pounds, I can drive a steam engine down a siding. I know that we have a few members who live in the UK and probably more who have visited at some time, and even more who are interested in steam engines and trains. Has anyone else done this or know of someone who did? I'd really be interested in knowing if it's worth it or not. It's only about ten bucks in USD so why not? Anyway, maybe this is something that the rest of you might be interested in too.
