Driver/pass door weatherstrip

I have an 04 Dodge pu. Does anyone know if the 06 ( new style weatherstrip ) will fit earlier models? I've had the original replaced twice because both door snags the rubber whenever you open or close the door,... . ultimatley tearing.

Here is link to the latest TSB and its new part numbers. I have seen on one of the forums that this is the style used on 06s now.

Yes it will - in fact, if you get a replacement WS from the dealer you will indeed get the 06 style. The old stuff was replaced by the new style. About $25 a side.

Mine replaced at no charge under warranty. If I see it starting again... they will replace... . again.

The cabs looked the sameto me. I didn't want to order the parts and have then NOT fit. My have been replaced twice. But are no longer under warranty.
