Driver side door adjustment

Front driver side door is hitting the catch on the pillar-door needs raising about 1/4 inch.



Any one done this? Do you loosen hinge bolts at truck or at door?

Are your hinges badly worn? Otherwise, try moving the catch if the door really seems in line every other way.

I opened my door and the wind blew it against the stops pretty hard-then noticed it was hitting the catch and the window beltline was a little lower than the rear window. Dont know how it moved the door down?



Any how I loosened the bolts at the pillar (with a padded jack under door) and moved the hinges slightly. Now it is back in line. Worse part was getting to all six bolts.
