Driver Side Mirror

Anyone have a nice, spare driver side manual mirror for a '91 D250 ? This part is discontinued no longer available thru Dodge... I have done quite a bit of internet searches for one but to no avail. I also checked in the other part of this forum (discontinued parts) and several years ago some of the other TDR members were looking for the same part. Local junk yards don't have any of the first gen donors, either... Who would have thunk that a simple mirror would be so hard to find ? Thanks in advance to all who can help !

Are you looking for the 1st gen SS tow mirrors? When available they were over $300 for a pair. I might have one that would need one leg straightened. I will have to check. Let me know.

Bob - Thanks for the reply and the offer. Mine are the stock door mirrors (like the ones pictured on that white rig at the top of this page in the First Generation banner). I got lucky last evening when I stopped by an AutoZone store to see if they had anything I could make-shift until I could do some serious salvage yard checking. AutoZone carries a universal door mirror (designed for mid 1980s Chevy trucks, vans) that is so darned close to the Dodge mirrors you can barely detect the differences. For 30 dollars, I took it home, swapped the mirror head and mounting post to my truck ... I used the door mounting hardware and trim piece on my truck... . and voila ! back in business.
