Driver side rear doorlock

Howdy,
Recently between the cd changer taking a dump and the batteries going dead in Momma's '05 3500 we noticed the rear driver side doorlock does not work with either the clicker or the driver door switch. Opening the door still activates the dome lights.
Anybody have this mal, and what was the culprit? I figure a broken wire , the rear door switch, or the solenoid. Which is the most likely?

Door wiring harness is the typical culprit.

Yep, harness, and do both sides at once.
Left side won't be any better.

How difficult was the door wiring harness installation. I have my rear driver side out & I have done numerous repairs.

Let's just say it's so easy that I almost forgot that I've done that repair on my '06 before. It's a painless job, unplug the old and replace with the new.
