My driver's light went out about a week ago. I pulled it and the glass had shattered. I replaced it and it has now shattered again. It lasted about 4 days. I didn't touch the bulb when I installed it. Anybody had a similar experience? Thanks Clay

I havent, but what has the eather been like when it has happened. I have seen light housings leak and drip water, or get condensation and affect the bulbs. also make sure that the sock et for the bulb is tight and not vibrating around

I totally wipe the glass to be free of any oil or foreign material that might cause uneven heating of the glass bulb. Next would be any water intrusion into the socket or around the bulb. Next would be good tight connections, maybe a dielectric grease on the socket in case there is a little corrosion in there.

Just some thoughts,

Bob Weis

I run a Summit harness on mine, no problems, and it unloads some of the current going through the headlight switch.
