i've done the factory one a few times on my 04. and the "upgraded" one on my 08, WORLD of difference.

That's the Geno's upgrade. And yeah, all the difference in the world. Shocked me how much of the old cushion I had to vacuum up because it just fell to pieces...

Crazy easy for 3rd gens. Don't gotta pull the seat. Simple plastic j-clips underneath. Pull cover. Remove foam. Vacuum like crazy. Put new foam in place and resecure the cover. The directions Geno's sends are really good. But once you start, it's really easy to figure out.

I have been extremely happy with Covercraft seat covers. I put a duck cloth set on when my truck was near new and when they wore out, I bought another set made by them but in the Carhart fabric. https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/seatsaver-custom-duck-weave-seat-covers.SSC-SSCA
They are washable and mostly waterproof. They shrink just right after the first wash. They last 5 plus years.

They are covers, not replacements. They completely cover the seat back on front and back and slip over the bottom.

If you are looking for "replacement" fabric for your seats at least one upholstery shop makes them now. I was looking for the Mopar tag on his because they matched and fit so well... www.Hotrodupholstery.com
