What is the standard Dodge drivetrain warrantee for my '06. The reaso I ask, I had my duel mass flywheel replaced last month and I have an abrasive sound coming from the transmission. Dodge says the flywheel caused the bearings to go in the transmission. I'm thinking this should be under a 100,000 mile drivetrain warrantee. Am I wrong?

The clutch, flywheel etc. . are not covered under the the warranty. It is covered only under the 3/36. It is considered a wear item, lke tires and wipers.

**I got 2 friends at work that replaced their flywheel at 61,000 and 65,000 miles. the dealer admits this is a problem. Do I need to go ahead and order a new flywheel at 47,000 ?

Sound to me like a class action lawsuit needs to get started.

I know all that, I am concerned with the transmission at this point. Is there a 100,000 mile trans coverage? I know there used to be, but they have my truck in the shop now and all my paperwork is in the truck so I can't check. I want to nail them on this "abrasive" sound in the transmission. They are already trying to "dodge" a fuel delivery problem since I now have 97,000 miles on the truck.

Southbend just came out with a retro fit, had I known I would have went that route before replacing mine. I still want to know what the drivetrain warrantee is? trans-Diff

The 06 only came with a 3/36 no power train coverage other than the Cummins engine. Even in the years that a powertrain was given it was 7/70 not 100k

shoot me a pm and i will run your vin through chrysler and tell you what warranty you have left. also give me the current milage. thanks

I was afraid of that. I have to tell you I am really getting turned off by the treatment of DC in general. This is my 4th Dodge ctd and probably my last. Dealer service id herrendous. Though I may have equal treatment by one of the other manufactures, I certainly can't see DC deserving any customer loyalty by the way they treat there customers and what they offer us in return. It's a shame, to say the least. I am very interested in the '08 duel turbo Strokers. May be time!!!!
