White painted RAM owners: Any paint problems to be aware of?

I went 3 long weeks without a Cummins powered RAM

and that was all I could take! Just kidding. I did

trade in my 3500 RAM three weeks ago. Now my wife

drives a nice new GMC Yukon XL (Suburban) 3/4 ton

4x4 with the Vortec 8100 big block. I had planned

on using it for towing but I was longing for the

Cummins sound, power and fuel economy. If it were

not for the fact that Dodge is discounting the

2001 RAMS and selling them at dealer invoice, plus

an additional cash rebate from DC. Lots of dealer

incentives so those of you thinking about getting

a new Cummins powered RAM, do it now! I saved

about $7,000.

The details are in my sig below.

It sure is great to be back!

Great to here your back in a Ram. I am on my second one also. I will not go back to a gas powered truck. Sam

Dodge incentives

Cummins Cowboy:

I worked with two dealerships. Both were telling

me they would sell for "dealer invoice". Kindly

ask to see a copy of the invoice when they agree

to do this. DC (Diamler Chrysler) has several

incentive programs available. See which ones the

dealer you are working with work the best for you.

I did the $2,000 cash rebate. I believe there is

also a low intrest rate offer.

As far as what kind of savings you can expect, it

depends on what the window sticker price is versus

the dealer invoice price is.

The sticker price on the truck I have is $36,085.

I saved about $7,000; dealer invoice was about

$31,900 or so if I remember correctly. Then the

DC rebate brought that down to the $29k range.
