LSD or 4WD or both?

The fam and I will be heading out on the 13th enroute Milwaukee. We have scheduled stops in Ellensburg, WA and Boise ID to visit family. We are thinking of stopping in Butte, MT,

Buffalo/Gillette, WY , MT Rushmore area, Sioux Falls, Lacrosse, WI. Any recommendations on campgrounds/RV parks to stay at? Will have slide in camper, boat, and wife driving the mini van.

Thanks

David:)

Have a safe trip, David. Just for your info in case you don't know: Sioux Falls to LaCrosse is 280 miles - easy driving across MN on I-90 - about 4 to 4. 5 hours - not including stops. LaCrosse to Milwaukee should be about 3 hours. We'll get you signed into the local yahoos "chapter" after you get settled. ;)

I went through Mt Rushmore last year, there is a State or a National Forest campground about two miles from the Big Heads. We are totally self contained so I don't know how the bathrooms are. The camp ground was nice and quite though. Go to the heads at night there is a light show and program to watch.

Washington to Wisconsin

Dave &Casey, thanks for the input, Dave I will be living around Wind Lake. Will definately have to do a Bomb Party, the last one I went to with the NWBombers was 56 trucks... awesome... purely awesome. :--)

Sounds good, Dave. We're heading west on the 14th. We'll be in CO until the 21st, then up into WY for a week, then back through SD (in-laws) to WI. There should be a dyno event in NE Iowa for our group sometime this summer. Stay tuned. :)
