How much does an ATV weigh?

I was driving to work today and a 4' bull snake came out from under the passenger seat of my 93 mustang. I hit the brakes so hard, he slide forward towards the firewall. By the time I pulled the E-brake and jumped out (car still moving forward BTW) and ran around to the passenger side to pull him out by his tail, he was completely up under the dash. #@$%!

Couldn't find the darn thing with a flash light, so what do you do?

I went ahead and drove the last 3 miles into work (pant legs tucked into my socks) and have no idea how to get it out?

BTW, I hate snakes...

Any ideas?

The bad part is that I will never know if he left or not, or if there was only one:eek:

i wouldn't worry about him, hes harmless. just crawl around the car with a flashlight lookin for him. i doubt he'll do any harm to you, worse thing is maybe he got stuck up in the dash somewhere.

At least you don't have to worry about mice ruining your interior. It is a Live in mouse trap.

Snakes are cold-blooded. If you're really worried, take a small heater and somehow rig it in your car where it won't catch anything on fire. Leave a door cracked or some way for him to escape but not let too much heat out. When it gets hot, he'll move out of there, guaranteed.

actually that wont work, hehe. he probably wont notice at all. if you really want to drive him out, make it nice and cold in there. don't ask how i know... .

Wow, I would have had to walk the rest of the way! No way in hell I'm driving that car until little buddy is accounted for...

On my way home from work that same day, there was a dead snake in the road, about 50 feet from where I originally did my emergency stop that morning. I stopped and took a close look, it was the same size and color, so I assume it was the same one. It must have gotten out while I was looking for it under the dash and got ran over later that morning on the road.

The worst part is that now I won't ever really know if that was it or not. It could happen again...

OR could the sale ad say this...

1993 Ford Mustang... . "A REAL Cobra".....

BTW...

I am one who is a firm believer that the only good snake is a dead snake... Andy

My girlfriend and I killed this one last week while we were out playing with the Mule. We kinda joked about becoming snake hunters. :-laf

We were duck hunting a few years back and there were lots of wasps in the area. My buddy left his window cracked overnight. When he was driving home the next day, he flipped the visor down and about 50 wasps fell in his lap. Guess his brakes worked really good! Managed to evacuate without pain.
