Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Not sure if I should post here or in towing section, but here goes:
I've got an '04 Dually. I have just purchased a camper and a Superhitch with extension. I later plan to put on a Buckstop or Ranchhand or other wrap-around bumper. Those of you that have these type of bumpers, what do you use to tow? The bumper? Another hitch? I'm not sure what fits. I don't want this thread to go too much into the different bumpers except to what spefically addresses the issue with a reciever hitch.
I purchased Torklift frame tiedowns for the rear, but if I get a wrap around bumper, I can just put some eyebolts or other device on the top of the bumper to tie down the camper. I just need to know what my towing options are going to be.
