I like the Amsoil Drop in filter. It actually breathes better and is better at keeping dirt out of the turbo and engine. It is cleanable, reusable, and a dry filter. New nanotechnology materials. Sure made a difference in my truck.

I have had real good lock with the Amsoil Nano drop in filter. I have used it for the past 15K miles and it filters and flows great. No dusty film inside the turbo inlet tube (will pass the white glove test) and the "filter minder" does not get sucked down at all.

I just installed the AMSOIL drop in. The filter minder kept showing a restriction with the stock paper filter, even when they are brand new. This AMSOIL filter doesn't. Will be installing the "cool hose" when the new colors are available.

I have the AMSOIL nanofiber drop in also.

I bought two of them just in case I need to clean one and don't have time to wait.

Which reminds me, I should put it in the truck instead of on the workbench.

I'm also waiting to purchase the "Cool Hose". Hopefully will be installing gauges this weekend, so I can have before and after comparisons.

Oil analysis?

Has anyone done an oil analysis using the amsoil nano filter? I want to switch to this and I will do some analysis after I swap. It'd be interesting to what results others have seen.

I also recommend the Amsoil filter the drop in is EAA189. I just replaced my AEM dry for the Amsoil Nano dry. Seems better.

Fit of nanofilter?

Does the nanofilter fit snuggly in your airboxes? Mine moves a little and doesn't seem to hug the stock airbox as well as the Fleetguard. My nanofilter in the '99 fit just like Fleetguard.

Good to see the Amsoil filter is getting such good reviews. I can't say enough good things about it or the setup I have. -Troy

I haven't seen anything but a bunch of guys saying there filter minder does not suck down anymore, which means it flows more. Now if it flows better and filters better is not seen. Yes, amsoil says it does but they are a company selling a product, I don't think any company would discredit a product they sell.

We need conclusive UOA to make an educated decision, not a bunch of guys making a guess.

I would say this about any company not just amsoil but since amsoil is the company in question then that's who it's aimed at in this post.

Do I beleave amsoil puts out quality products, YES.

Thank you! I agree!

I also don't like the fact this "reusable" and "cleanable" filter only has a limited life expectancy. If it is cleanable, why would it need replaced?

Well, all i know is I can run my filter for 5000 miles, take the filter out, wipe the intake tube clean and get NO residue at all. My engine stays clean, my filter minder stays green, what else do you need. I don't need any company to tell me anything, I have seen the results for my self.
