Dropped seat in 3rd gen

HOw hard is it to fix? Is the head salvageable? Costs?

mine dropped, ruined cylinder head and piston, and yes it gets expensive, and no you cant go back stock, since you have the motor out, fix untill you cant fix it any more or till you cant afford it or you get divorced, which ever comes last... :-laf

You gonna pull common rail next year? You give up on the 12v thing?

I may give up the 12V thing, but not for sure which injection pump I am going to run.

I got lucky and my seat dropped when my engine was not running after it cooled off our right when i started it up the next morning. .

It just put a few dents in the piston but remember this was just idealing. . I didnt want to take any chances with the old head so i got a brand new 06 head and just cleaned the piston up. .
