I'm getting closer to having all the pieces I need to do my clearance light install. I need to get some info on how to lower the headliner to get access to the roof. I've got the overhead console with the trip computer.

I found a couple of fasteners while I was looking around, but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any hidden ones and tear something up.

Been a while since I removed mine, but remove the sunvisors and clips and the console. The plastic end caps on the passenger grab handle pop off as the clothes hanger hook behind the drivers seat. Remove the lense from the roof light. Can't remember any secret things holding it in.

I'm all ready to put mine in my '95. I just got my cab roof "peeling paint" re-done, (when the factory initially painted it, they did NOT apply clear coat to top of cab).

I will probbly do my lights this weekend or early next week! I took my center roof console thingy out while at the laundromat just to see how easy it was--piece of cake!

Justin, did you get the template in the mail yet ?

I dropped just the front portion of the headliner to do mine. If you have a overhead console there are 2 tabs towards the front that you pop forward if I remember right and it slides out forward. I tore up the padding in the sunglass holder before I figured it out. You will probably have to have someone hold the plastic inserts for the screws until the screw tightens down.

Thanks

Brett-

I just got back in town yesterday and the template was waiting for me in the mail. Thanks again for sending it to me.

My parts came in while I was gone as well, 'cept that the light sockets did not come with the part I ordered so I have to wait till they come in. Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll be working on this project next week.
