I am trading my One ton dually a 04 In on a 06 short bed 4 door Dodge diesel Automatic Laramie with leather Interior, cab lights, hood scoop, lower Two Tone paint,Anti spin rear Axle,Bedliner,Tow Hooks Power tow Mirrors,Bug shield,Block Heater, and they are going to order It today. Should take 6 weeks or so. Like 6 weeks to a year It will seem like?My truck only has 8000 miles on It. The dually Is bigger then I need. Driving It around town Is a pain In the butt. Wife Is happy now that we are getting a automatic trans. She hated the six speed hard to shift for her. I got a as* chewing everytime she drove It. I got to drive a 06 diesel with the new automatic trans and I was impressed In the way It drove. I think I will like It better then the six speed. I got the maroon paint but they call It inferno red crystal pearl anyway bid deal.

Sweet, I've got the 05 version of that except for leather. Just some advice on the paint thought. I've got the deep molten red which is similiar to the paint you're getting. Just be forwarned that the paint is thin like it is on all the trucks but what is really annoying is the primer is white so when it scratches, it really shows up more so than with a white or silver. Just my take based on what I know about my truck.

Do you tow or haul an RV? You need to include your signature.

I see your in PA, that means if it comes from mexico it will come on a boat to baltimore. (there is some chance it might come from St Louis). The difference between yours and mine is you got a short bed. Maybe that is what is taking mine so long?

May the force be with you and your truck get here in 6 weeks :)

I ordered 10/25, its still not here :(

I love that Red Inferno Pearl Metallic no matter what they call it on my 06 2500..... and the big St Louis sticker on window is a nice touch. :)

Someone on here that works for DC told me that the EPA don't let them use the "good" paint in the US plants anymore, but they still use it in the Mexico plant. Probably the only benefit of getting one out of mexico.

I just drove an 06 mega cab, with an auto this morning. I have 04 with the auto, big difference in the way it acts...

Just mulling over the numbers now. Got to stop going to the dealer for oil changes :)

Here a little tip

After the dealer gave me the price difference I look at It and said to the dealer. Why don't you like my truck?Because you are not paying anything for It. Heck the junkman will me that much for scrap I told him. Then I told him I was ashamed to show these figures to my wife. He came down some more. All total I got him down another 3500 dollars. Plus a free wash and clean up every time I bring the truck In. All the salesmans had Dodge jackets and now I have one. When the truck comes In I make sure they do a front end aligment before I pick up the truck and full of fuel. They will put mud flaps and a hood scoop on It like my trade In has. I am not done yet. Can you think of any thing else?My wife Is making them put running boards on It.

I got It In Waynesburg,Pa. John Howard Chry,Dodge. 6 to 8 weeks before I get It. They want my truck now but I am dragging my feet a bit. They got to sweeten up the pot a little more to do that. :-laf

many a drunk nights at the Waynesburg college with my sister and her friends!!! I live up in Murrysville right by monroeville, I always deal with Monroeville Dodge and Nolf Dodge. I would recommend either dealer, my friend owns Monroeville dodge and nolf dodge knows their S$%# when it comes to diesels.

3500 order

towpro; my 3500 quad went from mexico to fenton . i dont know what state fenton is in, i would guess michigan. it should be at my dealer next week. i ordered it on jan 23. i wonder what is taking yours so long, did you order from a smal volume dealer? because i heard that the orders works on allocation. hope you get it soon, take care, Joe.

Many folks here on TDR, me included, feel that our Dodge trucks built in Mexico are better in every way then those built in St Louis. My 95 was built in Mexico and when I ordered my 05, I told the dealer that if my truck didn't come out of Mexico, I didn't want it. It did, and so far it's as good as the 95.

No, actually they told me they are one of the highest volume Dodge dealer in the NE area (if not the largest), no alocation restriction on them. In fact in order to get more trucks they picked up every CTD that was in storage lots in the NE just to fill there lot after the Friends and Family promotion last year.

Right now they have around 100 rams and over 20 CTD's sitting on the lot, only one 2wd 3500 srw 6 speed, but its an SLT, but I want the laramie.

Only thing we can figure it its a long bed quad cab, which is the same lenght as the megacab. There is only so much room on the train for long trucks. All the mega cabs get loaded first, if there is any room left the Quad Cab LWB trucks get loaded. Mine sat from Dec 12 until Late jan waiting for the train from the factory to the boat docks. Then they float it up to Baltimore where its sitting now.
