auto overdrive ratio question

WOW does that baby ever fly -- I mean she is a flat out frigging race car - and ZERO Turbo Lag... ... ... ... . This one had every bell and whistle you can imagine -- INCLUDING

1. Headlights that TURN with the Steering Wheel... .

2. Additional Driving lights that illuminate the sides when you turn hard . .

3. Heated Steering Wheel

4. HUGE backup Camera that has the most unique feature - it hows a red box that depicts your present position behind the car... and a yellow one that moves as you turn the wheel showing where you will go -

5 A zillion other gadjets... ...

Nice, but man those things are pricey. If I where made of money, I'd get on for the wife. With >500 ft/lbs of torque and probably half the weight of our rigs, I bet that think will move out. It's bascially a diesel Porsche Cayenne. Sweet. Any idea on mileage?

They dont do as well on mileage as you would think. IIRC, the best they do on the highway is the mid 20s. They are a pretty sweet SUV, but the low mileage, coupled with the close to 60k price tag is a deal breaker for me.

This one had everything and listed

for over $76,000  It gets in the upper 20's... ... but if you can afford it - fuel $$ is no issue.....

Toureg turbo changeout.

My friend's general manager of Bob Baker VW in Carlsbad,Ca. He got one in,sold it to a high roller, then unfortunately the turbo went out. In order to r&r the turbo, the engine must be lowered from the body. He had to fork out $8,000 for a lift in order to service the beast. Unreal vehicle though. :):)
