Drove a Duramax to day

I have a fried that bought a new duramax. He is in the landscaping business and he pulls some heavy loads. He said that it would out pull his commins and that he liked it very well,but it had been broken down 2 times and it had to be towed in bought times. The trouble was in the transmission both times. I ask him if i could drive it and he said yes, so we went out for a drive. I was not impressed at all. I told him that he needs to drive a coummins that will run. He said that he had one and that the chev would out run it and out pull it. I said would you like to drive my truck and he said yes. At the end of the drive he could not beleave what a commins could do. I told him to put the chev on the road and let get it on, HE SAID NO. I will keep my commins and i can buy them chev at a discount to.

I just made the same choice and my uncle owns a large Chevy dealership... big-time discount... maybe I'll try the Chevy in a few years when they get all the bugs worked out. You do have to admit that the Chevy has a lot of potential though.

Haven't driven one yet, looked at them a couple of times. Get the same feedback as you from other people who have driven them.

Lets slide this over the wall to the General Diesel Forum so we don't get our Rams kicking the slats out of the corral with a Chevy running around!
