Got my stuff from DPP at the shop today - cat eliminator pipe, AFE Stage2, Aerosomething muffler, gauges. . etc...

Got a jump on the UPS guy by getting a start on removing the stock exhaust system when I first got in... or at least starting. The straight pipe to cat section came off pretty easily. That was about it. Had to sawsall the rear section to muffler part as it WOULD NOT BUDGE. Cat to DP came out with MUCH force. Straight pipe to stock muffler is still attached and is going to be a bear. Had to leave to come meet builder at the house, so project is not finished - had I known this, needless to say, I would have gone the full exhaust route. Tomorrow, going to grind off the circle guide tabs so I can slip on the cat replacement and cut the rest apart for reassembly. Will have to clean up the cut on the stock rear section, since the angle of attack with the Recip saw left a jagged cut. Hope I did not remove too much material...

AFE went on in about 15 minutes. Cake.

Gauges and pod tomorrow and crazy larry (sent off PP to be upgraded) will be here tomorrow.

Big thumbs up to the guys at DPP for putting up with the phonecalls and as always, their service was great!

Oh, and with open DP. . truck is loud and sounds like POOPOO.
