I know this isn't the 4th Gen page, but, I've got a question pertaining to my truck.

Drove my buddys 2011 2500, 6. 7L with the G56, EGR delete, DPF delete, Intake, and H&S programmer. Talk about a MONSTER!

I hopped in it, and drove it for 2 days. Shifting was nice and tight, power was insane! The exhaust brake is a nice feature. When I pushed the clutch in, it was effortlessly straight to the floor. At first, I thought something was wrong, so I let it out slow, and it started to grab about 2 inches off the floor, which is about right. Drove it for 2 days, and got back in my truck.

Pushed the clutch in, in my truck, and It felt like I was driving and old Kenworth!

My truck has about 2 inches of freeplay in the clutch before it starts to disengage, and grabs about an inch off the floor. Just felt really hard to push in after driving the new truck for a couple days. It doesnt feel spongy, but just threw me off. I haven't driven another truck with a NV5600, but I've got alot of miles in big rigs. Just felt weird. Are all of the NV5600's like that? Stock clutch, 71k Miles.

Thanks,

Kevin

NV5600 and a SMF vs a G56 and DMF. . wait til you put a better clutch in your NV5600 it get's stiffer.

Your buddy will soon find that out when his DMF goes to the garbage and he installs a SBC or Valair, back to a real pedal feel.
