First post here.

I have a questinn about the Alcoa & Eagle aftermarcet wheels. Will these wheel be strong enough to hold up to a 5er, with 2600* pin weight ok?

I think the Eagles are 058 series and the Alcoas are around 1000. 00 for the 17'' wheels.

If they are ok for the weight is one better than the other?

TIA.

The Alcoa wheel will be stronger than a steel wheel. I have seen this many times in commercial trucks and also Light duty pickups, in wrecks and accidents. The Eagle Alloy wheel is a good wheel, and as a dealer, I don't believe I have ever seen a problem that was a fault of the wheel. I have several sets of both in my Ranch fleet, and both have held up well. I prefer the Alcoa due to heat treating and forging, but the Eagle has proven itself a good product, both on and off road. I often overload my trucks and can say I've never had any problems with wheel performance. I do prefer the Alcoa hubcentric alignment, as well. But the Eagle wheels are a much cheaper initial cost. One thing you may not like is the lugnuts, washers, and regular center caps are chromed steel, which rusts without proper care and polishing. They do offer SS center caps, so you might inquire about them if you decide on the Eagles. As far as carrying capacity, I don't think you'll have any problems, whatsoever.
